Many e-mails today about things popping. I am pleased that my posts and discussions have got some of you watching markets closely. I am not pleased that some of you want to make that quick buck. That is not what I want as a teacher, although that is nice as a market participant.
After Google and Apple, I am more inclined to look for drops rather than pops. I don;t think earnings for many others are such sure things. As an example, I wanted to short GE yesterday before earnings, but the generally bullish mood dissuaded me. Pity, that would have been a nice trade.
