From the FT Magazine comes this piece on the complete failure of economic forecasting, whether it is the IMF or the OECD or private economic forecasts. Very telling that after the financial crisis in late 2008 not one forecast a recession in 2009 in the 77 countries surveyed, when 49 of them were in recession!
